Ever wonder how deer pee makes it to the licking branches! Well while urinating and rubbing the tarsal glands together they rub the tarsal gland on the forehead glands or pre Orbital gland and then they rub the pre Orbital gland on the licking branches! Here's a prime example of a deer applying urine to the forehead glands! 😉
I chase them out of the yard (and off the beehives) at least once a week here… usually takes 3 shots into the ground with the 12ga to get them to even casually walk off. But to this yuppie state they are all “cute and fuzzy” so no matter how many times it is lobbied for they won’t open a season. And we have a bunch of brazen absolute mammoths that literally breaking into houses… Sad but won’t happen here until a kid is hurt…
